Today, after literally over a thousand years, the Gnosis has escaped the attempts of Saklas and the Rulers to overcome it. Due to the discovery at Nag Hamadi we have an opportunity to overcome Sarx and Psyche and discover Pneuma, to experience Metanoia and achieve union in the Fullness of Bythos through Christos. But the availability of the Gnostic Scriptures alone does not lead to Metanoia for most. Luckily a group of Adepti in the Western Mystery Tradition had the keys to unlock the Gnosis. Due to their experience in Magick when they were exposed to the Gnostic Scriptures they knew just what to do to establish the Contacts and work the System. This book is the first in a series related to the Practical Gnosis of a more or less traditional Gnostic path. Help the Child of the Wastes heal his broken heart, unite the Opposing Forces to bring about the end of Nature and the Liberation of the Holy Sparks which like Narcissus have become enamored of their reflection in the waters of Tohu. Those sparks which naturally inhabited the Aeon of Sophia before her Nightmare of the Illusion of Separation occurred. All within the Aeon of Sophia groan as if in Labor as the Nightmare of the Seven Heavens, Seven Hells, and Seven Planes of Nature continues until the Opposites are United and Resolved. To those of you really looking for information on ancient Gnostic literature please read this book. I was completely fascinated and MIND BLOWN by it. It took me into a differnt realm where everything I thought I already knew about esotericism and mysticism changed as it will probably for you also. This book is a great time to sit in bed and adventure or spend some time in deep contemplation. I encourage the the anthology to any mystic, scholar, curious reader, and novice. These books are definitely a add to any religious and mystical scholars list of reference books. Thank you Rune and keep us enthralled with the next work in the series :)

A concise primer for the aspiring Gnostic

I am extremely happy to see this on Amazon after loving it when I read it 2 years ago in Norwegian. That it is available to the English speaking world is a huge asset!
The book gives an introduction to Sethian Gnosticism in a way that it becomes relevant to people today. It is actually Book 1 of 3 planned ones where the other 2 will focus more on practical matters and also contain some of the hidden and revealed texts. The book is the result of the work of a practitioner from their Albedo phase through the citrinitas and shows insight beyond what can be achieved by studying this subject academically. The level of scholarship is however of a high standard.
The result is a living, breathing text that comes alive due to its authors personal lived experience.
The text discusses issues such as
The interpretations of Sethian - Gnostic texts, discussing Duality, Satanism, or antinomianism and the view of sexuality, along with key concepts used by many gnostic writers.
There is a clear and easy to follow explanation of the Sethian Gnostic myth from creation until the mythical Set; interpretations offered for the various concepts that exist in Gnosticism such as God the Father, The Holy Spirit, Christ, the types of species of Man, the Demiurge etc. All concepts are explained in a way that become relevant today. The myth is thus presented not as a Reality to accept, but as a way of interacting with the world, as a Gnostic tool instead of a religious dogma, working with which can bring about the state of Gnosis sought by many, achieved by few as it requires the step beyond the religious guidance that brings one to the precipice.
I strongly recommend it for anyone who has an interest in gnosticism and would like an overview of the subject and the thinking. However there needs to be a will to understand that Gnosticism has in fact very little to do with mainstream religion and is an active search rather than a passive acceptance of creed.
This book presents the Sethian Gnostic tradition and makes it as clear and relevant as possible for todays readers.
