Not so much....

First let me say I absolutely love this author and have been waiting forever for this book to come out. But I was really disappointed. The storyline was good but I agree with another reviewer that the book was unnecessarily long. I also found myself skipping through. And then the cliffhanger? After the fans have waited so long for this book to have a cliffhanger was maddening. I don't recall any of Ms. Byrd's books ending without closure. I also agree with another reviewer about the editing. After paying $10 I really didn't expect to see so many errors. To sum it up, I still love Adrienne Byrd, but this was not one of her better reads for me.

I have been waiting on Q's story for quite some time but it was honestly kind of disappointing.
Two things. 1) I didn't mind paying the 9.99 price. I really didnt. As soon as I knew the book was out, I immediately one-clicked without a second thought because I am a fan of this author and there are certain authors whose work I will buy no matter the price point. However, like a couple of other people pointed out, there are a LOT of grammatical errors. I usually don't have a problem with grammatical errors especially if it's a self-published book but for 9.99, there were way too many IMO.
2) The story. It just kind of felt all over the place and the ending felt extremely rushed. I did enjoy Q, as I always do.
I really want to read Torn, but I don't know. I probably will because I am a sucker for wanting to know exactly how stories end.

Okay Read, Expected and Wanted More!

Quentin's book is finally here. I was excited about that but the book is long in places that aren't necessary. We get a look into the past to explain his journey.
His past is very much a part of the journey, but I found myself dragging though this book. I wanted to connect with Quentin's struggle for love. It was hard because of the character that kept coming in and out of the book. There were a lot of names to keep up with. Yes, the other characters brought back the love of the other stories, but I wanted this book to focus on Quentin and his love and only because we had been waiting so long.
He finds love. A love from his past and a lot of surprises in between. The book ends with a cliffhanger, so there's another story left to tell about Quentin and his love.

Not worth the price! I've read better from this wonderful author.
Too much going on. From his possible child. The drama of a runaway possible bride, his true father.
And...the ending....So he couldn't remember his name after the cliffhanger. That's so over used if that's where this next book is going. Sigh...I just wanted better. We've waited so long, and this was a bit disappointing.
